Elmer E. Troyer

November 8, 1932 — September 30, 2016

Elmer E. Troyer, 83, of Goshen, passed away Friday morning, September 30, 2016, at IU Health Goshen Hospital after a brief illness.

He was born November 8, 1932 in Goshen to Ezra and Mary (Miller) Troyer.

He is survived by a daughter, Vickie Grant of Goshen; a son, Mike Troyer of Seattle, Washington; a son-in-law, David Grant of Goshen; three grandchildren, Ian Grant of Chicago, Marissa (Oscar) Ramirez and Zachary Grant, both of Grand Junction, Colorado; and four siblings, Marion (Dorothy) Troyer of Goshen, Mervin (June) Troyer of Millersburg, Edna Gingerich of Goshen and Gladys Christner of LaGrange.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Omer and Melvin Troyer.

Mr. Troyer retired from the RV industry.  He was an avid photographer and enjoyed country music.

He attended First United Methodist Church, Goshen.

Friends may call Wednesday, October 5, 2016, from 11 a.m., until the 1 p.m., funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Ed Fritz will officiate.

A private family burial will take place in Thomas Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Courtyard Healthcare or the Humane Society of Elkhart County.
