Ellen “Jeanette” Yoder, 77, of Millersburg, died Sunday, September 9, 2018, at her home.
She was born December 6, 1940 in Rensselaer to Forest and Jean (Odle) Rater.
On February 18, 1960 she married Henry Yoder.
He survives along with five children, Laura (Jerold) Mishler of Shipshewana, Julia (Robert) Kirkdorffer and Lanette (Matthew) Kritzman, both of Millersburg, Fritz (Tisha) Yoder of Woodstock, Georgia and Saundra (Tony) Smoker of Syracuse; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a sister, Elva Berg of Texas.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Conley-Donaldson.
An area resident since 1962, Mrs. Yoder was a cook at Millersburg Elementary School. She also worked at Superior Samples, Ligonier. Heaven is getting a wonderful mom, grandma, aunt and sister. She leaves behind a large and grateful family.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 13, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. Friday funeral at Topeka Mennonite Church. Rev. Nelson Yoder will officiate.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Topeka.
Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
