Ella Klatt, 81, of Goshen, passed into the arms of Jesus late Wednesday morning, August 1, 2012, after a two month illness. She was born March 28, 1931 in Ilow, Poland, to Gustav and Bertha (Pankratz) Pretzlaff. She married Eberhard Klatt March 26, 1953 in Goshen. He preceded her in death January 15, 2007. She is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth (Kim) Mark of Fremont, California, Nancy Klatt of Matthews, North Carolina, and Kathy (Tim) Nowak of Elkhart; a son, Richard (Mary Ellen) Klatt of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Randy (Brittany) Nowak and Brian, Kevin and Mary Klatt; and two sisters, Emily Perersdorf of Flensburg, Germany and Alma Foth of Cedarburg, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and seven sisters. A Goshen resident since 1951, Mrs. Klatt was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and worked at Goshen Rubber for 30 years. Friends may call 1 to 5 p.m., Sunday, August 5, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 10 a.m., Monday, August 6, 2012, funeral service will be conducted. Pastor John Hickey of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Harbor Light Hospice.
