Elizabeth Ellen Prihoda

Elizabeth Ellen Prihoda, 43, of Goshen, passed away early Monday morning, February 17, 2014, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. She had been ill the past year. She was born in Goshen on December 30, 1970, to Winston and Delores (Ditmars) Wakeland, Sr., On May 25, 1996 she married Mark Wayne Prihoda in Goshen. He survives along with a brother, Winston (Misty) Wakeland, Jr. of New Paris; a niece and three nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Harlan Ditmars and an aunt, Darlene Bailey. A 1989 graduate of Goshen High School where she was a member of the marching band, Elizabeth was an avid bowler and loved her "fur babies" (dogs). A lifelong area resident, Elizabeth worked at MasterBrand Cabinetry, Goshen. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m., Friday, February 21, 2014, funeral service will be held at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Goshen. Rev. Richard Rinearson and Rev. Matthew Prihoda, her nephew, will officiate. Burial will follow at Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with expenses or to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County.
