Elizabeth Looney

Elizabeth M. Looney, 71, of Rome City, died Monday evening, January 27, 2014, at North Ridge Village Healthcare in Albion. She was born October 24, 1942 in Elkhart to Ralph E. Miller, Sr., and Effie (Gushwa) Miller. On October 1, 1988 she married William Dalton Looney in LaGrange. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2007. She is survived by a son, Darrin (Sandra) Miller of Rome City; a step son, Luke (Sherrie) Looney of Goshen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Pick of Florida; and a brother, Ralph (Pamela) Miller, Jr. of Elkhart. Mrs. Looney was a lifetime homemaker and beloved grandmother. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen, where a 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 1, 2014, funeral service will be held. Rev. Lenny Krebs of the Benton Free Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
