After 101 years, Eleanor A. Kull or Goshen has left us to be with God and her husband.
She departed Tuesday, June 26 at The Maples at Waterford Crossing.
She was born October 2, 1916 in Millersburg to Willard and Carrie (Alwine) Green.
On December 13, 1941 she married Irvin E. Krull. He died July 23, 1993.
She is survived by her son, Stephen (Carolyn) Kull of South Bend; two grandchildren, Chadd Kull and Samantha (Stuart) Rodberg; and a great-grandson, Maddox Kull.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Miller; and a brother, Leonard Green.
Eleanor was a 1934 graduate of Millersburg High School and 1939 graduate of Kinzel Beauty College, Elkhart. She owned and operated Powder Puff Beauty Shop for 40 years.
She was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church, Goshen, and member of #397 Order of the Eastern Star, where she was a past president and Worthy Matron. She was also a member and past president of the Modern Miss Home Economics Club.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Maples at Waterford Crossing and Harbor Light Hospice for the care, kindness, and little “extras” provided for Eleanor.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Service, Goshen.
A private burial will take place at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Harbor Light Hospice, Mishawaka or first United Methodist Church, Goshen.
