Eldon L. Brovont

Eldon L. Brovont, 54, of Goshen, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at IU Health Goshen Hospital.

He was born June 14, 1961 in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to Paul S. and Marlene (Flora) Brovont.

On August 10, 2007 he married Shelly Miller.

She survives along with five daughters, Brandee (Bruno) Martinsky of Milford, Kendra Brovont and Lisa Groves, both of Goshen, Nicole (James) Greensides of Middlebury and Jessica Groves of Middletown, Ohio; his mother, Marlene Brovont of Goshen; five granddaughters; three grandsons; three sisters, Susan (Richard) Fingerle of Burlington, Elizabeth (Leon) Nead of Hart, Michigan and Julia (Allen) Yoder of Millersburg and a brother, Alvin (Beverly) Brovont of Pasco, Washington.

He was preceded in death by his father and his former wife, Barbara S. (Watts) Brovont.

A lifetime area resident, Mr. Brovont worked at Jayco as the service shop foreman for 21 years.  He enjoyed being outside, camping and mowing the lawn.  He was always fixing things and helping other people.

Friends may call Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1 to 3 and 4 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and again one hour prior to the 10 a.m., Monday, April 25, funeral service.

Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.
