Elberta Mary Landenberger

Elberta M. Landenberger, 95, of New Paris, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018 at her home.

She was born Sept. 15, 1923 in New Paris to Osee and Mary (Welty) Weaver.

Survivors include three sisters, Opal Marie Weaver, New Paris, Norma (Vernon) Hershberger, Goshen and Jewell Wiggins, Dowagiac, Michigan and a large extended family.

She was preceded in by her parents, two husbands, Ray Shank and Ulric Landenberger; three sisters, Bertha Krebs, Faye Kauffman and Laveta Stuckman and five brothers, Francis, Glen, Kenneth, Jay and Stanley Weaver.

Mrs. Landenberger graduated from New Paris High School and worked in the office of the former Penn Controls.  She attended New Paris Church of the Brethren.

Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 9, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home followed by a 3:30 funeral service.  Pastor Stan Godfrey will officiate.

A private burial will take place Monday in New Paris Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to New Paris Church of the Brethren.
