Elbert E. Robbins, 83 of New Paris died Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Goshen Hospital.
He was born January 18, 1936 in Abingdon, Virginia to Earnest and Lillie Bell (Bailey) Robbins.
Survivors include two daughters, Bobbie (Jeremy) Hossler of Millersburg and Teenia J. (Brian) Lafevers Odle of Savannah, Tennessee; two sons, Brad Robbins of Cassopolis, Michigan and Jessie (Ida) Robbins of Goshen; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Hall of Pikeville, Kentucky and Cathy Robbins of Bristol, Virginia; and three brothers, Louis (Carol) Robbins of Syracuse, Charles Robbins of Goshen and Ray (Dorothy) Robbins of Middlebury.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Lafevers Jones, a granddaughter, Angela Robbins, and two sisters, Sybal Compton and Louise Creech.
Mr. Robbins served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957 and in the U.S. Navy from 1963-1965. He worked in the local R.V. manufacturing industry and as a truck driver.
Visitation will be Friday, June 14, 2019 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.
Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory, Goshen.
