Elaine Margaret Caprio

Elaine Margaret Caprio, 73, of Franklin Park, Illinois, died Tuesday evening, January 11, 2011, at her daughter’s home.  She had been ill the past four years. She was born April 26, 1937 in Chicago, to the late Julius and Margaret (Caldrone) Cozzi.  She married Ronald F. Caprio on June 30, 1957.  He died in August 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Renee (Scott) Drake of Leesburg and a grandson, Ryan Drake. A lifetime Chicago resident, Mrs. Caprio moved to the Goshen/Leesburg area in 2009.  She had worked as a mortgage officer for LaSalle Bank, now Bank of America.  She was a member of St. Eugene Catholic Church, Chicago. Friends may call 3 to 9 p.m., Friday, January 14, at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois. A 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011, funeral mass will be conducted at St. Eugene Catholic Church, Chicago. Entombment will follow at Christ the King Mausoleum, Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, Illinois. Yoder-Culp Funeral Home is assisting the family with local arrangements.
