Eileen P. Miller, 90, of Goshen, and formerly of New Paris, died early Friday evening, April 21, 2006, at Americare of Goshen where she had been a resident since April 2005. She was born June 7, 1915, in New Paris, Indiana, to Gordon and Bertha (Cordier) Miller. On March 26, 1932, in New Paris, she married Ray E. Miller. He died September 10, 2005. Mrs. Miller retired from Goshen Rubber Company after 3o years. She had worked as an inspector of parts. She enjoyed cooking and baking pies. Surviving are three daughters, Barbara E. (Melvin) McCoy of Halfway, Missouri, Diana K. (Robert) Coleman and Beverly R. Deter, both of Goshen; two sons, Gordon D. (Linda) Miller of Granger, Indiana, and Robert G. (Janet) Miller of Goshen; ten grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three half-brothers, Robert Myers of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Donald (Helen) Myers, of Goshen, and Lewis Myers of Elkhart, Indiana; and a half-sister, Joan Worman of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray; a half-sister, Jeanette Madden; and a grandson, Michael McCoy. Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 26, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, April 27, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. Retired Pastor Otto Beer will officiate. Burial will be in Whitehead Cemetery, New Paris. Memorial contributions may be made to the DARE Program.
