Edwin “Bud” Steury, 91, of Goshen, died Saturday, November 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
He was born April 15, 1930 in Noble County to Victor and Lucy (Lengacher) Steury.
On January 16, 1951 he married Lydia Yoder in Nappanee.
She survives along with two children, Diane (Grant) Maust of Bristol and Matthew (Jen) Steury of Goshen; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Louise Schrock of Goshen.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Virgil Steury, and two sisters, Marie Cross and Jeanette Fry.
Bud was a home builder, boat builder, and camper builder; along with being a lime truck driver.
Bud and Lydia enjoyed wintering in Sarasota, Florida for 30 years. He was a “solid man” who loved his family, and his Lord.
Viewing will be Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, where a 10:30 a.m. funeral will take place, Thursday, December 2. Pastor Tim Fisher, Crossroads Community Church, will officiate. The family kindly requires those attending services to wear a mask due to current Covid conditions. For those unable to attend, the funeral will be live-streamed.
Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
