Edward C. Weirick

Edward C. Weirick, 81, died Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Esther’s Hospice House, Elkhart.

He was born September 14, 1944 in Goshen to Ansil “Bill” and Romaine (miller) Weirick.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy DeBoard and a son, William “Bill” Weirick, both of Hauchuca City, Arizona; niece, Becky Coppens of Goshen; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Mishler of Wakarusa.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Berdina Krallman; and two brothers, Terry and Sonny Weirick.

A lifelong area resident, Mr. Weirick worked for the Blue Ribbon Ladder Company and later as a custodian and janitor for Goshen Community Schools and the former Holiday Inn, Goshen. He stayed active with daily walks as long as his health allowed.

Cremation will take place at Yoder-Culp Crematory. No burial or services are planned at this time.
