Edward C. Fry

Edward C. Fry, 88, of Goshen died Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Goshen Hospital.

He was born January 12, 1931 in Goshen to George L. and Elouise E. (Miller) Fry.

On September 22, 1951 he married Janet G. Rassi in Goshen.

She survives along with a daughter, Candace Jo Kehr of Goshen; a son, Bradley W. Fry of Rockford, Illinois; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Marvin Fry of Goshen.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Mast, and three brothers, LeRoy, LaVern and Alex Fry.

Mr. Fry was a Korean War veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy from 1951 to 1955.  He worked as a patrolman and line walker for NIPSCO, retiring in 1991 after more than 36 years of service.

Ed was a member of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen and the NIPSCO Service Club.

Friends may call Monday, February 4, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, February 5, from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. funeral service, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home, Goshen.  Rev. Craig Garber will officiate.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
