Edward J. Fortier

Millersburg – Edward J. Fortier, 91, of Millersburg died Monday, June 2, 2025 at his home.

He was born September 7, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Bernard and Frieda (Lange) Fortier.

He is survived by children, Steven (Kelly) Fortier of Apache Junction, Arizona, Edward B. (Deanna) Fortier of Goshen and Mary (Brian) Humphrey of Elkhart; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Louise and Lori.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ragene (Schwartz) Fortier and a daughter, Cheryl Miller.

Mr. Fortier was a self-employed entrepreneur. He was an avid golfer and member of Maplecrest Country Club, Goshen Noon Kiwanis, Elks, Moose Lodge, and American Legion.

A proud U.S. Army veteran, Ed served for three years as an aircraft mechanic.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
