Edward H. Edlund, 82, of Goshen, died Monday, May 20, 2019, at his home.
He was born June 16, 1936 in Muskegon, Michigan to Haddon and Faye (Walls) Edlund.
On June 3, 1956 he married Alice J. Turnbow. She died May 10, 2014.
Survivors include children, Dawn M. (Donald) McQuarie and David (Cynthia) Edlund, both of Goshen and Douglas (Kristi) Edlund, Middlebury of four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by sisters Eleanor Pothoff and Carolina Isley.
Mr. Edlund earned an associate degree from Elkhart University and was a member of New Paris Missionary Church. He enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s events, golfing and walking a shoreline and picking up driftwood and rocks.
He was currently working in the Elkhart County Recorder’s Office. He had worked at the hospital, Everett’s Supermarket and Turtle Top.
Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 25, at 11 a.m. at New Paris Missionary Church. Pastor David Hackney will officiate.
Memorials may be given to 2 nd Chance Small Dog Rescue or, because Ed was a cancer survivor, to Goshen Cancer Center.
