Edward "Eddie" C. Miller

Edward “Eddie” C. Miller, 84, of Goshen, died early Wednesday morning, May 7, 2008, at Goshen General Hospital in the emergency room He was born in Reno County, Kansas on October 20, 1923, to Clemens and Mattie (Miller) Miller.  Mr. Miller moved to Goshen two years ago after living in Mishawaka for 40 years.  He worked as an assembler at Bendix.  He was a member of the Albright United Methodist Church in Mishawaka and a 20 year volunteer for Meals on Wheels. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He is survived by four sisters, Fannie Miller and Odena Miller, both of Sarasota, Florida, Nettie Ring of Elkhart, and Katie (Lloyd) Troyer of Fairview, Michigan; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by six sisters, Lizzie Bontrager, Barbara Miller, Mahala Yoder, Mary Miller, Mattie Miller and Alice Miller; and four brothers, Joni, John, Clemens, and his twin Freddie Miller. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 9 and 9 to 10 a.m., Saturday, May 10, at the funeral home. A Saturday, May 10, 2008, funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Warren Kirkwood of the Albright United Methodist Church, Mishawaka, will officiate. Burial will be in Clinton Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to South Bend Homeless Center.
