Edna A. Peffly, 88, of Bluffton, Indiana, and formerly of Goshen, died Friday morning, November 16, 2007, at the Christian Care Retirement Community in Bluffton. She was born on July 12, 1919 in Versailles, Missouri, to Jacob A. and Cora E. (Raber) Ramer. She married Nelson Inebnit in Ohio in 1943. He died in 1949. On December 23, 1972 she married Calvin L. Peffly in Goshen. He preceded her June 2, 1986. A member of the Plymouth United Church of Christ, Mrs. Peffly was a homemaker and a volunteer at Goshen General Hospital. He was a member of the Goshen Business Professional Women. She is survived by a daughter, Betty (James) VanWinkle of Bluffton; a son, Glen Inebnit; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands and a brother, Samuel P. Ramer. Friends may call 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, November 23, at the Plymouth United Church of Christ, Goshen. An 11:00 a.m. memorial service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2007, at the Plymouth United Church of Christ. Rev. John von Lackum will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth United Church of Christ, Goshen or Christian Care Retirement Community.
