Edna Pearl Hamilton, 91, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been August 2021.
She was born February 6, 1931, in Selmer, Tennessee, to Lue Allen and Lucy (Darby) Peak.
On May 9, 1946, she married Otis L. Hamilton in Marked Tree, Arkansas. He died May 11, 1988.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Katherine (Harold) Rutherford of Duff, Tennessee; two sons, Howard L. (Pat) Hamilton and Larry G. (Robin) Hamilton, both of Goshen; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Hamilton of LaFollette, Tennessee; eight grandchildren, including a special granddaughter, Emily Fitt of Goshen; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Billy L. Hamilton; three sisters, Dorothy Rogers, Jessie Holland and Marie Taylor and six brothers, Robert, James, Jr. Eugene, Howard, Earl and Bobby Peak.
Edna worked as an inspector at Homecrest, retiring after 27 years. She loved children and during her retirement worked at a daycare.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 29, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given to her church, Maple City Baptist Church.
