Edith B. Parks

Edith B. Parks, 84, of Goshen, died Monday, April 17, 2006, at her home.   She was born February 22, 1922, in Elkhart, to George and Edith (Rogers) Zook.  On June 8, 1946, in Elkhart, she married Levi R. Parks.  He died on January 24, 1964.   A homemaker and a lifelong area resident, Mrs. Parks, is survived by two daughters, Jean (Rick) Willard of Millersburg and Ruth Batts of Bristo.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, Lisa Weaver, Michelle Drolet and Michael Berger; and three great-grandchildren, Kelsey Ambrosen, Marcus Drolet and Kaleb Berger; and a sister, Margaret Middaugh of Nappanee.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Levi; a daughter, Viola Parks and a brother, John Zook.   Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 19, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.   An 11:00 a.m. funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2006, at the funeral home.  Pastor Ron Kennel of Clinton Brick Mennonite Church will officiate.   Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
