Edith Huber, 105, of Goshen, died Sunday morning, October 16, 2016 at Greencroft Healthcare.
She was born April 2, 1911 in Elkhart County to Amos and Lovina (Roose) Hoover.
On March 11, 1939 she married Frank H. Huber in rural Goshen.
Survivors include two sons, David (Maria) Huber of Goshen and Dale (Doris) Huber of Peachtree City, Georgia; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great great granddaughter.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Hoover, a sister, Gladys Detwiler, and a step-sister, Dorothy Maust.
A lifelong area resident, Edith was a member of Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren. She was a loving homemaker, avid quilter and gardener.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. A 10 a.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 funeral will be conducted at Yellow Creek Church of the Brethren. Rev. Mark Bendes will officiate.
Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.
