Eberhard Klatt

Eberhard Klatt, 77, of Goshen, died Monday morning, January 15, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital.    He was born in Marianka, Poland, on May 30, 1929, to Alexander and Olga (Damrau) Klatt.  On March 26, 1953, he married Ella Pretzlaff in Goshen.  She survives.   A Goshen resident since 1953, Mr. Klatt retired in 1988 from maintenance and as an electrician for the mobile home industry.  He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen.   Mr. Klatt is survived by his wife, Ella; three daughters, Elizabeth (Kim) Mark of Fremont, California, Nancy Klatt, of Matthews, North Carolina, and Kathy (Tim) Nowak of Elkhart; a son, Richard (Maryellen) Klatt of Ridley Park, Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; a sister, Lydia Kuckretz of Koln, Germany and a brother, Eduard Klatt of Knesebeck, Germany.   He was preceded in death by a sister, Emily Sites and two brothers, Gottlieb and Reinhold Klatt.   Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, January 18, and one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.   A 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 19, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Laura Meier of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Goshen will officiate.   Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.   Memorial contributions may be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
