Duane Robert Geiser

Duane R. Geiser, 72, of New Paris, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017, at Elkhart General Hospital after suffering an aneurism of the heart two weeks ago.

He was born May 17, 1944 in Wabash to Robert and Elsie (Fingerle) Geiser.

On May 19, 1963 he married Linda Brovont in Delphi.

She survives along with his mother, Elsie Geiser of North Manchester; two sons, Jeffrey (Darlene) Geiser and Rodney (Valerie) Geiser, both of Goshen; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Diane (Galen) Long of North Manchester.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Duane graduated from North Manchester High School in 1962.  He owned Geiser Insurance Agency in New Paris for 43 years.

A member of First Brethren Church, New Paris, Duane enjoyed traveling and camping.

Friends may call Thursday, April 13, 2017, from 2 to 6 p.m. and again one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service Friday, all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeff Estep will officiate.

Burial will follow in New Paris Cemetery.
