Drema Alane (Marcum) Arnold, 48, died unexpectedly Friday evening, May 21, 2010, at Elkhart General Hospital where she had been taken by paramedics. She was born in Welch, West Virginia, on March 8, 1962, to Wallace Marcum, Jr. and the late Dorlis Lois (Cook) Marcum. She married Roy Arnold, Jr. on April 9, 1991, in Elkhart. He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Lois Lee Ann Arnold and Linda Louise Arnold, both at home; two sisters, Renee (Jim) George of Anderson, Indiana, and Charity (Tim) O'Hara of Bristol; and a brother, Clint Combs of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by her mother and a daughter, Elizabeth Thern Arnold. Mrs. Arnold worked at the former Fountainview Place, Greencroft Healthcare and in home healthcare. She was a member of First Brethren Church, Goshen, where she was active in WMS and taught Bible School and Kid's Klub. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, and one hour prior to the service at First Brethren Church, 215 W. Clinton St., Goshen. An 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 27, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at the church with Pastors John Drexler and John Howenstine officiating. Memorials may be made to First Brethren Church for the Arnold family.
