Dorothy Maxine Timmons

Dorothy M. Timmons, 95, of Goshen, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born March 5, 1924 in LaGrange to Ray and Elva (Miller) Miller.

On February 27, 1951 she married Robert W. Timmons.  He died February 3, 1973.

Survivors include nieces, Nancy Myers of Pennsylvania and Ruth Miller of LaGrange; a sister-in-law, Donna Belle Yoder of Milford; and many other nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Orlan, Marion and Merritt Miller; a step-sister, Martha Eagleson; three brothers-in-law, Herbert, Leroy and Richard Timmons and five sisters-in-law, Francis Armey, Mary Saal, Mildred Shafer, Dorothea Stutzman and Phyllis Copenhaver.

During her final years, her nieces, Wendy Labrum and Brenda Hostetler, acted as her caretakers.

A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, June 1, 2019,  at 1 p.m., at The Meetinghouse at Greencroft Healthcare, Goshen.

Memorial gifts may be given to Elkhart County Humane Society.
