Dorothy L. Strycker

Dorothy L. Strycker, 84, formerly of Goshen, died Sunday evening, October 17, 2010 at Kingston on DuPont, Fort Wayne, where she had been a patient for about a year. She was born August 11, 1926, in Benham, Kentucky, to Henry and Nancy (Irvin) Tolliver.  She married Lowell “Bud” Strycker on August 9, 1947, in Cumberland, Kentucky.  He died June 20, 2009. Surviving is a brother, Ralph (Betty) Tolliver of Fort Wayne. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ethel Sumser and Mabel Tolliver; and five brothers, Howard, Herbert, Charles, Hawood, and Willard Tolliver A Goshen resident since 1947, she was a member of First Baptist Church, Goshen.  She retired in 1989 as an inspector from Goshen Rubber. Friends may call 1 to 4 p.m., Wednesday, October 20, and 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. An 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Pastor Gregg Lanzen of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church or Salvation Army.
