Dorothy A. Robinson

Dorothy A. Robinson, 92, of Goshen died Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at Waterford Crossing Health Campus.

She was born December 10, 1932 in Goshen to Donald R. and Hazel L. (Coulter) Garman.

On April 26, 1952 she married Patrick G. Robinson in Goshen and were married for 61 years.

Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Jane Rheinheimer and Susan (Glen) Carpenter, both of Goshen, and Sally (Dr. James) Thwaits of Syracuse; eight grandchildren, Ryan (Taryn) Bergman, Carrie (Brandon) Eakins, Neil (Heather) Bergman, Adam (Mindy) Thwaits, Jennifer (Al) Borchelt, Ashley Wooten, 2 step grandchildren Tamra (E.J.) Allbaugh, and Nick (Jennifer) Carpenter; 16 great grandchildren, and a great-great grandson.

Along with her parents and husband, Patrick, she was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Brent Rheinheimer; and two brothers, Ted and Don Garman and 1 great granddaughter.

A 1950 graduate of Goshen High School, Dorothy was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Goshen and Psi Iota Xi Sorority.

She was a loving mother and grandmother, who took exceptional care of her family and home. She will be greatly missed.

A private graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Violett Cemetery, Goshen.
