Dorothy E. Miller

Dorothy E. Miller, 101, of Elkhart, died Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation –Valley View, Elkhart.

She was born May 10, 1916 in Rush County to Lewis B. and Bessie M. (Rhodes) Meredith.

She is survived by a daughter, Virginia L. (Terry) Benn, Goshen; three grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a sister, Etta Mae “Betty” Schling, Greenfield.

Dorothy was a member of Spiceland Nazarene Church, New Castle, where she taught Sunday school for 59 years and held a Deacon’s license.  Always active in the church, Dorothy devoted her life to serving her Lord Jesus Christ.

A 1 p.m. funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Ray Boyles will officiate.

Burial will follow at Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen.
