Dorothy "Dottie" M. Pierson-Kramer

Dorothy “Dottie M. Kramer, 85, of Goshen, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2022, at Greencroft Healthcare where she had been one week.

She was born December 22, 1936 in Indianapolis to Sollie and Mabel (Martin) Guthrie.

On July 20, 1979, she married Coe Kramer, Jr. at the Plymouth United Church of Christ.  He died February 8, 2017.

Dottie is survived by a daughter, Angie (Ed) Geideman of Niles, Michigan; a son, Steve (Jamie) Pierson of Elkhart; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Dan Pierson; a daughter, Jenni Pierson; a granddaughter, Ashley Heiman and a sister, Barbara Hendershot.

She was a member of the Rock Run Church of the Brethren and former member of the Plymouth United Church of Christ.

An 11 a.m., Thursday, March 3, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with burial to follow at Rice Cemetery, Elkhart.  Greencroft Chaplain Laura Moshier will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Rock Run Church of the Brethren.
