Dorothy A. Lambert

Dorothy A. Lambert, 78, of Elkhart and formerly of Syracuse, died Wednesday morning, June 29, 2016, at her daughter’s home after a short illness.

She was born May 14, 1938 in Kentucky.

On December 31, 1963 she married Larry W. Lambert in Goshen.  He died September 2, 2010.

Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl (Amy Goodman) Lambert of Elkhart; a step-granddaughter, Tasha Combs; three sisters, Lillie Bachtel, Ruby Tackett and Sarah Pennington; and three brothers, Addam, Warren and Joe Shepherd.

Mrs. Lambert worked at Mogul Rubber for more than 30 years.  She was a member of the Eagles, D.A.V., V.F.W., and American Legion.  She enjoyed bird watching.

Friends may call Friday, July 1, 2016, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Cremation will follow the visitation and burial will be at a later date in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
