Dorothy Calbeck Koher, 90, of Goshen, died late Wednesday night, November 24, 2010, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing. She was born in Noble County on September 19, 1920, to Ernest L. and Lewella M. (Clayton) Calbeck. She married Edwin E. Koher on June 27, 1941 at the Cromwell Methodist Church. He survives. Also surviving are a son, Clayton (Pam) Koher of LaGrange, Illinois, and two grandchildren, Renee and Ryan Koher. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Ellabelle Robbins, Catherine Leamon and Barbara Brandt. A 1938 graduate of Cromwell High School, Mrs. Koher was a member of First United Methodist Church, DAR, and the Caring Club of Goshen Hospital and Health Care Foundation. She was a past Matron of the Eastern Star in Ligonier. She had worked as a secretary at Goshen Rubber and a receptionist at Monsanto. Friends may call 2 to 6 p.m., Sunday, November 28, at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Monday. A 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pamela Kling, Pastoral Assistant at First United Methodist Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be given to the Caring Club of Goshen Hospital and Health Care Foundation or First United Methodist Church.
