Dorothy A Johnson

Dorothy A. Johnson, 88, formerly of Goshen, died early Saturday morning, November 7, 2009, at Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw.  She was born in Warren, Minnesota, on June 30, 1921, to the late John and Hazed Parvey. She married Leroy G. Johnson on December 27, 1950, in Finlayson, Minnesota. He preceded her in death on February 1, 1995.  Mrs. Johnson is survived by four sons, Kenneth C. Johnson, Michigan City, Indiana, Donald Earl Johnson, White Deer, Pennsylvania, John Edwin Johnson, Austin, Texas, James Joseph Johnson, Austin, Texas; one sister, June Strait, Minetowa, Minnesota; one brother, Einar Parvey, Spokane, Washington; six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Leroy Johnson, Gary Lyn Johnson; and one brother Iver Parvey. She was a member of the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2009, and from 12:30-1:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, at the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church.  A 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, funeral service will be conducted at the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church, with Reverend Terry Diener and Reverend Jeff Mumaw officiating.  Burial will be in Violett Cemetery, Goshen.  Memorials may be made to the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church.
