Dorothy F. Hershberger, 80, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Goshen Hospital from an extended illness.
She was born May 6, 1941 in Goshen to Enos and Lizzie Ann (Hostetler) Chupp of Goshen.
She is survived by two sons, Doyle Dee (Angela) Hershberger of Goshen and Daryl Lee Hershberger of Menomonie, Wisconsin; a grandson, Joshua Hershberger of Millersburg; three step-grandchildren, Sarah (Cody) Rennison, Thomas (Angelica) Kinkin Jr. and Matthew (Santana) Kinkin; six step-great-grandchildren, Levi, Freya, Annabeth, Aoife, Layla and Henry; four brothers; Mervin (Edna) Chupp, Wilbur (Elsie) Chupp, Elvie (Joan) Chupp and Ivan (Eunice) Chupp and a brother-in-law Lawrence Stutzman.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Phyllis Miller, Mary Ellen Christner and Elsie Stutzman and a brother, Marlin Chupp.
Dorothy was a member of North Side Church of Nazarene and a huge fan of southern Gospel music, she enjoyed cooking and basketball games. She also enjoyed the travelogue and shows at the Blue Gate in Shipshewana.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 Wednesday, October 27, 2021, and a funeral service on Thursday, October 28 at 11 a.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Sheets will officiate. A private burial wiil take place at Thomas Cemetery.
