Dorothy Louise Herman Hatfield

Dorothy Louise Herman Hatfield, 95, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, formerly of the Elkhart and Goshen area died November 19, 2015 in Colorado Springs.

She was born November 25, 1919 in Wabash to August Herman and Barbara (Obringer) Herman.

She is survived by a son, James Edward (Myown) Hatfield, CS; a granddaughter, Linzie (C.J.) Stites; a great-granddaughter, Aleeysia Amara Stites; and a sister, Betty (William) Miller Evans, Bristol.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Hatfield; a grandson, Ryan Hatfield; a sister, Vera Herman Miller and a brother, Ernest Herman.

Following graduation from Goshen High School, Mrs. Hatfield worked for Goshen Telephone and in the 1960’s transferred to Elkhart General Telephone. She retired after 47 years.

Services and burial will be at a later date in Wabash.
