Dorothy M. Hartman, 82, of Goshen, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born August 27, 1941 in Powers Lake, North Dakota to Joseph and Helen Hanson.

On September 5, 1957 she married Raymond A. Hartman in North Dakota. He died January 9, 2005.

She is survived by two daughters, Rhonda (Michael) Truex of Goshen and Renee (Gary) Rorie of Elkhart; two sons, Michael (Darcie) Hartman of Goshen and Mark (Teresa) Hartman of Bristol; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Alice Iverson of Tioga, North Dakota.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Bernerd Hanson and two half-sisters, Dorothy Nelson and Delores Hummy.

Dorothy enjoyed cooking, shopping and spending time with her family. She attended Beulah Missionary Church where she was a member of the Hospitality Ministry. She retired as Quality Control Manager from NIBCO.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 pm., Sunday, March 24 at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 25 also at the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Violett Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be directed to Beulah Missionary Church or Goshen Home Care and Hospice.
