Dorothy “Dottie" Cripe, 81, of Goshen, died Fried afternoon, June 8, 2007, at Goshen General Hospital where she had been a patient since Monday. She was born in Leesburg, Indiana, on December 19, 1925, to Dale and Georgia (Booze) Tom. A member of the First Baptist Church, Goshen, she had worked at Greencroft Home Healthcare, Snider Jewelers, Goshen and Lucille’s Dress Shop, Goshen. A Leesburg High School graduate, she enjoyed birds, flowers, plants, fishing and knitting. She is survived by three daughters, Denise (Don) Lloyd of Elkhart, Deanne (Steve) Base of Osceola and Donita (Robert) Slack of White Pigeon, Michigan; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 11, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. A 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2007, funeral service will be conducted at the First Baptist Church, Goshen. Grandson, Joe Lloyd and Rev. Greggory Lanzen, First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Memorial contributions may be given to the National Tourette Association or to the Middlebury Boys and Girls Club.
