Dorothy L. Berkey

Dorothy L. Berkey, 82, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at Goshen Hospital.

She was born March 17, 1940, in Goshen to Adrian and Genevieve (Riley) Beckner.

On May 8, 1960, she married Dale Berkey in Goshen.

He survives along with two children, Cindy (Michael) Miller and Gary (Veronica) Berkey, both of Goshen; seven grandchildren, Tyler (Danie Miller, Taryn Miller, Tristyn (Preston) Silcox, Nathan (Katy Thornthwaite) Berkey and Alexander, Colin and Leah Berkey; and three great-grandchildren, Brody and Braxton Miller and Bailey Silcox.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Beckner.

Dot was a tax preparer for H&R Block for more than 15 years.  She loved to bake cookies and had a special affection for dogs.  She and Dale were snowbirds to Bradenton, Florida for 19 years.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 28 from 10 a.m. until the 12, noon, funeral service at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Tim Yoder will officiate.

Burial will follow in West Goshen Cemetery.
