Doris Mae Snook, 87, of Bristol and formerly of Goshen, died Thursday afternoon, January 24, 2008, at her home.  She was born in Clintonville, Wisconsin on December 30, 1920, to the late Herman and Hattie (Mueller) Frank.  She married Kermit L. Snook on February 2, 1942, in Biloxi, Mississippi.  He preceded her in death on January 29, 1983. A Goshen resident since 1948, Mrs. Snook retired from the former Penn Controls in Goshen.  She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Goshen; the DAV #15 Auxiliary and the VFW Post 985 Auxiliary. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley (Terry T.) Snyder and Ginny (Elizar H.) Martinez, both of Goshen and Sue (James Sack) Duncan of Bristol; two sons, John R. (Darlene) Snook of Elkhart and Michael R. (Ginger) Snook of Goshen; 21 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Neuman of Slinger, Wisconsin. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Karol Mae Kincaid; a son, James “Rick” Snook; a sister, Dorothy Hoeft; and three brothers, Robert, Herman, and Gordon Frank. Friends may call 1:30 to 5 p.m., Sunday, January 27, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2008, funeral service will be held at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.  Rev. Ed Arnold of the Pine Ridge Bible Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in West Goshen Cemetery, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
