Doris Mae Hanson

Doris Mae Hanson, 78, of Goshen, died Thursday morning, October 22, 2009, at Greencroft Healthcare. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on August 29, 1931, to Nils and Helen (Johnson) Lee.  She married Clifford Hanson on July 18, 1964 in Minneapolis.  He preceded her in death on January 26, 2004. A Goshen resident since 2004, Mrs. Hanson worked as a bookkeeper for Mutual of New York for 15 years.  She also worked as a receptionist for 15 years for Southtown Office Park. She is survived by a daughter, Janine (Peter) Capon of Goshen; two step-daughters, Teresa Brooks of Plymouth, Minnesota and Denyse (Rick) Hensel of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; and three grandchildren. There will be no visitation.  Following cremation burial will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota. A memorial luncheon will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, at Greencroft Gables.  RSVP at 536-8274.
