Doris F. Campbell, 86, of Goshen, died late Wednesday night, September 15, 2010, at The Maples at Waterford Crossing where she had been for three days. She was born March 12, 1924, in Witt, Illinois, to Robert and Ethel (Weller) Furness. She married Virgil Campbell on October 18, 1942, in St. Charles, Missouri. He survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Claudia (Evan) St. Germain of Goshen; a son, Kenneth (Carol) Campbell of Kokomo; two grandsons, Eric St. Germain of Elkhart and Gregory Campbell of Denver, Colorado; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley (Robert) Young of Florida. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Christine St. Germain Weitzenfeld in 2007; five brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Campbell worked at First National Bank of Goshen and its successors from 1956 to 1985, retiring as customer service manager. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Greenwalt/Roose Sunday School Class. Friends may call 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, September 19, at the funeral home. A 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 20, 2010, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastoral Assistant Pamela Kling will officiate. Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery, Goshen. Memorials may be given to Goshen Grads Give which was started in memory of Christine St. Germain Weitzenfeld.
