Dora M. Miller

Dora M. Miller, 83, of Ligonier, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at IU Health Goshen Hospital where she had been since Sunday, July 17. She was born March 23, 1928 in Hicksville, Ohio, to the late John and Hannah (Aschliman) Steury. She is survived by a son, Duane (Darla) Miller of Goshen; a daughter, Dione (Rich) Miller of Ligonier; seven grandchildren, Bridget, Christopher, Jennifer, Tarl, Tiffany, Andy and Amy; and five great-grandchildren, Bobbi, Lily, Logan, Hailey and Hazel. Mrs. Miller worked as a press operator at Goshen Rubber for 25 years. She also worked at Smoker Craft, New Paris and Alco, Ligonier. A longtime active member of Topeka Mennonite church, Mrs. Miller enjoyed crocheting. She was devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, July 22, at the funeral home. A 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011, funeral service will be conducted at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Martz of Topeka Mennonite Church officiating. Burial will follow in Miller 8 Square, Goshen. Memorial contributions may be made to Topeka Mennonite Church.
