Dora Z. Espinoza

Milford – Dora Z. Espinoza, 87, died Wednesday, Dec. 20 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

She was born June 5, 1930 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

On April 2, 1955 she married Jose Espinoza in Brownsville, Texas.  He died Feb. 9, 1985.

Survivors include 10 children, Henry (Margarita) Espinosa, Tippecanoe, Reyna (Joe Stevens) Garcia, Goshen, Art (Raquel) Espinosa, Goshen, Roy (Becky) Espinosa, Nappanee, Armando (Rocio) Espinosa, Goshen, Catalina (Steve) Brovont and Edward (Jenny) Espinosa, both of Elkhart, Irma (Brian) Hiesch, Mishawaka, David (Sarah Thurston) Espinosa and Roselinda Espinoza, Indianapolis; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; a sister, Josefina Garcia Alvarado, Cancun, Mexico and a brother in California.

A homemaker and very active member of St. John’s, Dora enjoyed helping others who were in need and will be remembered as a caregiver.

Friends may call Thursday, Dec. 21 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 4 p.m. rosary will be recited.  A 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 22, funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Deacon Dave Elchert officiating.

Burial will follow in Violett Cemetery.
