Donnabelle G. Hoover

April 14, 1929 — July 26, 2016

Donnabelle Hoover, 87, of Goshen died Tuesday morning, July 26, 2016 at Greencroft Healthcare.

She was born April 14, 1929 in Goshen to Earl and Bertha (Kauffman) Garber.

On October 14, 1950 she married Clair Hoover in Goshen.

He survives along with a daughter, Kristine (George III) Skyrm, and a son, Mike (Charlotte Weaver) Hoover, both of Goshen; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert (Olene) Garber of Bristol and Marion (Florence) Garber of Goshen.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Betzelberger and two brothers, Maurice and Lamar Garber.

A member of Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, Donnabelle was a homemaker and devoted volunteer at The Depot.  She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 10 a.m. until the 12 p.m. funeral service at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.  Pastors Wes Bontreger and Emily Hostetler will officiate.

Burial will follow in Yellow Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be directed to The Depot MCC Thrift Shop.
