Donna L. Rose

Donna L. Rose, 98, of Elkhart died Friday, December 21, 2018 at Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born October 13, 1920 in Wabash to Samuel and Leah (Wood) Hipskind.

On November 30, 1939 she married Norman E. Rose in Wabash.  He died October 19, 2005.

Survivors include a son, Thomas (Joyce) Rose of Goshen; a daughter, Jill (Jerry) England of Shakopee, Minnesota; a grandson, Brock (Rose) Rose of Goshen; and a great-granddaughter, Amanda Rose of Goshen.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Jacquelyn Roberts, two brothers and three sisters.

Donna was a graduate of Wabash High School and member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Goshen.  Mrs. Rose was a loving homemaker and worked as a professional seamstress.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral mass at St. John’s Catholic Church, 114 W. Monroe St., Goshen. Rev. Father John Delaney and Deacon Dave Elchert will officiate.

Burial will take place at West Goshen Cemetery at a later date.
