Donna Rink Patton, 75 of Goshen, died early Thursday morning, February 18, 2016 surrounded by her family at Courtyard Healthcare, following an extended illness with COPD.
She was born September 15, 1940 in Goshen to Emil and Elsie (Long) Helbling.
On August 3, 1991 she married Darle W. Patton in Goshen. He died December 10, 2003.
She is survived by a son, Robert (Betty) Rink; two daughters, Robin (Larry) Saunders and Rhonda (Andy) Hostler, all of Goshen; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Clippinger of Plymouth and Judy (Greg) Swihart of Elkhart; a brother, Calvin Helbling of Goshen; and her first husband Robert Rink of Goshen.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband; a son, Ronald Rink; and three brothers, Kenneth, Keith and Emil Helbling.
Donna was a 1958 graduate of Jefferson High School and a member of Little Pine Church of the Brethren, Goshen. She worked at Johnson Controls, retiring after 31 years. She also was a waitress at Elcona Country Club.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2016 from 1 to 5 p.m. and Monday, February 22, 2016 one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service all at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home. Pastor Tom Clark will officiate.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola.
