Donna M. Anthony

Donna M. Anthony, 73, of Bristol, died Wednesday morning, November 17, 2010, at her home.  She had been in failing health since she was diagnosed with cancer a year ago. She was born in Sidney, Ohio on January 13, 1937.  She married Robert E. "Tony" Anthony on December 16, 1989.  He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Helen Scholl of Goshen; two daughters, Diana L. Kidd of Milford and Elizabeth J. (Duane) Miller of Goshen; a son, Michael (Donna) Brock of Niles, Michigan; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Deborah (Philip) Rohrer of Constantine, Michigan, Alice (Stanley) Warble and Rosetta Scholl, both of Goshen; and three brothers, Ronnie (Marsha) Nelson, Martin (Sandy) Scholl and Steven (Diane) Scholl, all of Goshen. She was preceded in death by her father, husbands, Arville Brock and George Mays, Jr.; a daughter, Kimberly Brock, a great-grandson, Hunter Kidd; a son-in-law, Henry Kidd; two sisters, Naomi Jean Cole and Marjorie Campos; and two brothers, Harold Joseph and Kenneth William Scholl. Mrs. Anthony moved to the Goshen/Bristol area from Jellico, Tennessee, 50 years ago.  She had worked at Goshen Churn and Ladder, Dutchmaid Bakery, and as a cook at the former Yoder's Restaurant in Goshen. Friends may call 11 to 1 p.m., Friday, November 19, 2010, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home where a 1:00 p.m., service will be conducted.  Pastor Jim Shrock of First Baptist Church, Goshen, will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery, Goshen.
