Donald F. Snyder, 89, of Goshen, died Friday morning, June 5, 2009, at Goshen General Hospital. He had been ill the past five months. He was born in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, on April 11, 1920, to Thomas and Margaret (Knoll) Snyder. He married Lillian Buller in August 1947 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She passed away in 1970. He then married Annabelle Christophel on April 17, 1971, in Goshen. She survives. Mr. Snyder work for GTE for 14 years and was owner of Snyder's Studio for 20 years. He is survived by his wife, Annabelle; and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his first wife and a sister, Edith Stone. Friends may call 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 7, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home and from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 8, at the church. A 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 8, 2009, graveside service will be conducted at Yellow Creek Cemetery, Goshen, with a 2:00 p.m., memorial service to follow at Yellow Creek Mennonite Church, Goshen. Pastors Wes Bontreger and Katie Cunningham will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to Yellow Creek Mennonite Church.
