Donald Ellsworth Paff

Donald Ellsworth Paff, 94, of Goshen,died July 4, 2018, at Greencroft Healthcare.

He was born July 14, 1923, in Goshen to Ernest A. and Freda M. (McDevitt) Paff.

On June 3, 1949, he married Patricia Hoover at the Jimtown Methodist Church.

She survives along with two sons, Eric (Kay) Paff of Burke, Virginia; and David Paff of South Bend.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Eloise N. DeWeese, and a brother, Charles F. Paff.

A 1941 graduate of Goshen High School, Mr. Paff served with the U.S. Army during World War II, including a time at General Eisenhower’s SHAEF Headquarters.  He retired from Capital Technologies, South Bend.

A memorial service, with military honors, will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 29, at 12 noon at The Meetinghouse at Greencroft Healthcare, 1225 Greencroft Drive, Goshen.  Pastor Amber Karkosky-Litten will officiate.

A private burial will take place in Violett Cemetery.
