Donald Roy Lewis, 77, passed away peacefully in his home on April 26th, 2020 around 10:30 am.
Don was born on October 14th, 1942 in Penticton, British Columbia to Lyle and Alice Lewis, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his six siblings: Marvin, Perry, Calvin, Ellis, Raymond, and Clara.
For most of his life he lived in Canada, and was a truck driver traveling around the United States and Canada.
On July 14th, 2004, he married Pam Hutton.
She survives along with a son, Scott Lewis; four step-children, Jeff (Mary) Lepird, Missy (Jason) Osborn, Mark (Maureen) Webster and Michael (Cindy) Webster;14 grandchildren, David, Kristi, Lee, Kelsey, Lindsay, Breanna, Conner, Landon, Jared, Leah, Hailey, Jacob, Issac, and Noah; and seven great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Madison, Angus, Max, Jon, Mason, and Hunter.
Don was an excellent craftsman with a passion for woodworking. He loved giving everyone he came in contact with a hard time, and would often say, “if I didn’t like ya I wouldn’t give you a hard time.” He may have been rough around the edges, but he had a heart of gold and would do anything to help those he loved. Don will be loved and missed by many.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
