Donald Klippenstein

Donald L. Klippenstein, 90, of Goshen died Wednesday evening, Feb. 18, 2015 at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was born January 10, 1925 in Henderson, Nebraska, to George and Anna (Dick) Klippenstein. On December 3, 1954 he married Elizabeth Sawatzky Teichroeb in North Newton, Kansas. She survives along with a daughter, Shari Klippenstein of Goshen; two sons, Dr. Donald (Linda) Klippenstein of Lutz, Florida, and Michael (Robin) Klippenstein of Minneapolis, Minnesota.; five grandchildren; two step-grandsons; and a sister, Martha Friesen of Henderson, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by a son, Stanley Klippenstein, and four brothers, Harvey, Elmer, Ervin and LeRoy Klippenstein. Donald worked in computer science for Unysis. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Eighth Street Mennonite Church, Goshen. Pastors Brenda Sawatzky Paetkau and Tim Stair will officiate. According to Don's wishes cremation has taken place and burial will be at a later date. Memorial gifts may be directed to Eighth Street Mennonite Church or Mennonite Central Committee.
